I really like this series I mean what's not to like 5 hot rock stars. Danny the lead guitarist for Chasing Cross and the brother of the lead singer Johnnie went home to bury their alcoholic abusive father after he had a heart attack mowing the lawn. Danny also comes come's face to face with the one he left behind the only woman that he has ever loved and still does Olivia "Liv". Through the years she has never forgot the boy that left her to follow his dream her life was upended by her father's illness although her life has not been bad she is stuck with guilt for wanting something more and being their for her father, she has never found a love like she had with Danny. This was a really sweet love story, but this one lacked a little heat in the sex scenes that I wish was there. Danny struggles with the fact that his father died and really did care about him or his brother he wanted his father to be proud of him to show that he loved them. This book was well written like the rest of this series and I did like this book and I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

I have really enjoyed this whole series. I can't wait to see what happens next. I have really liked reading everything I can find from this author
I love the way the characters are so real you feel like you know them. The story is packed with action and keeps the reader's attention through every page in the book.
While I am not a big fan of series that leave the reader hanging - I do love the Chasing Cross books as each gives me the HEA I so need when I am escaping into my book universe. Life can be a big pain in the rear. I want my H/h to have a good ending. gives me hope that a little might bleed into the everyday reality - what can I say - I'm a hopeless romantic. AND I don't like cliffhangers. I am one of those people who can read the last chapter first then go back and enjoy the whole book. Love Liv and Danny.

Danny, younger brother of Johnnie, have to go back home to bury their father. Johnnie breezes through the formalities but Danny has to face his past. Including facing the girl he left behind, Liv. The story was good, just not a lot of detail regarding Danny and Liv's past or their future.
I really like that this book dealt with some other issues besides just the music part of it. Don't get me wrong, I love the music industry, but, I felt that the other issues made for a deeper book. I had a little bit of a hard time with Liv being so accepting after over ten years...no explanations, no reasons, just one I'm sorry and everything is fine...but, it didn't make me like the book or Danny any less!
Lib and Danny's story is romantic. Danny's journey through his past very heart wrenching and realistic. The reunion is very sweet and without malice or dishonesty which is a breath of fresh air. The issue is the author's words and thoughts just don't flow in a seamless or natural way much of the time. Also the author uses too many word. She states or overstates the. Obvious which takes the power and emotion out of a scene. These pitfalls can't help but diminish the enjoyment of the story. And would a hero really yank away his hand from the love of his life when she is scared because she squeezed too tight? Really??
This is the third book about this band. the first came with a 12 book boxed set with different authors.. the first one was included in that set.. I have since purchased the other 4 from that set.. each one covers a member of the band and are well written. Great romance stories,, not red hot erotica,, but very awesome romantic love stories with sex, just a little more vanilla,, so any reader with a lust for great love stories should love this series... I have read some of the stories in the boxed set, and stopped and bought the rest of the series,, some are single books,, but this series, you will want to read them all.. keeps you going from first page to last and onto the next book.. Chasing Cross series is fantastic... starting on the fourth one tonight and probably the fifth.. hard to put down..... then back to the boxed set to see what the rest holds in store... the boxed set of various writers was only 99 cents.. or you can buy all 5 books in this series,, but I recommend reading the 12 stories from the rock and roll boxed set, and buying the ones you really love after reading the first one.. I have bought a lot from the set already.. glad I have a kindle.... look up all my reviews for all types of romance,, mostly great erotica,, but also great books like this.... this is as good as Sylvia day or maya banks books.... or Arianne Richmond just to name a few
